Average food, very friendly service. Clean but well worn diner. I went here for breakfast based on FB group recommendations. The group stated it was the best chicken fried steak in the area. I did not have CFS, but had high hopes for biscuits and gravy. It was just OK. Had to request more gravy as it came with a small side bowl. Bacon, egg, hash browns all cooked to my liking. Everyone in party had same opinion. Everything good. Would not drive past somewhere else to get here.
Hadn't eaten here in a while. With so many places closed today I was driving around looking for someplace decent that was open. I popped in with the intention of getting breakfast. Instead I ordered the chopped sirloin smothered in grilled onions and brown gravy. It was delicious! A true sign of well made food is not needing to season it. The two sides were also very good and served in traditional homestyle bowls. The little corn bread loaf was served warm and moist. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. I'll definitely be coming back and adding Mom's back into the rotation.
I love this cute little spot. Boyfriend and I randomly decided to try this place and it was better than I expected. Friendly staff with fast service. Coffee mug was never empty. Food was tasty and arrived fast.
